Acceptance
By using Mise you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Mise is
Mise is a personal and family recipe book: recipes you write or import from websites and your own notes, a calculator for portions, the ingredients you have and baking pan sizes, a step-by-step cooking mode with timers, and estimated nutrition.
Imported content
Import only content you are allowed to keep for personal use. Mise keeps a link to the original and its author; the recipes in your book are for you and the people you share them with, not for publishing.
Sharing
Family members you connect with can view and edit the recipes you mark as shared; friends can view and copy them. Unsharing a recipe or removing a person ends their access; copies they made stay theirs.
Your account
You need an invitation and a FAMHQ account to use Mise. You are responsible for the security of the email address you sign in with. You may delete your Mise account at any time from the Profile screen; deletion is permanent.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to store and transmit it solely to provide the service to you. Do not use Mise to store or share illegal, harmful or infringing content.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to access any part of the service or other people's data without permission.
- Do not overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the service.
Service availability
We aim to keep Mise available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Mise is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
